Join us at Main Line Armory for our Intro to Competitive Shooting course, led by Master-Level IDPA and USPSA Shooter, Andy Margolin.

In the first portion of the course, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive shooting world. Andy will cover where to find matches, essential equipment, basic rules, scoring methods, and key strategies for popular competitions such as IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) and USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association).

The second phase of training focuses on developing fast and accurate target transitions. Students will work on improving target acquisition, sight alignment, and trigger control while engaging multiple targets with precision—an essential skill for success in competitive shooting.

The final segment of the course will concentrate on efficient movement techniques. Whether advancing, retreating, or moving between cover, Andy will guide you through dynamic positional shooting strategies to help you navigate challenging stages with speed and confidence.
