Master the essential skills of shooting in low light conditions with our specialized Low Light Shooting course. This class is designed to equip shooters with the techniques necessary to effectively use both handheld and weapon-mounted lights, ensuring preparedness for a variety of low visibility situations.

Course Highlights:

  • Comprehensive Training: Learn to navigate and engage targets in low light scenarios, a critical skill for personal defense and law enforcement situations.
  • Dual Lighting Techniques: Gain proficiency in using both handheld flashlights and weapon-mounted lights, understanding the tactical advantages and limitations of each.
  • Practical Exercises: Engage in live-fire drills that simulate real-world conditions, enhancing your decision-making skills and response times under reduced visibility.

Course Objectives:

  • Understand the fundamentals of light manipulation and shadow management to maintain advantage and visibility.
  • Develop the ability to quickly and accurately deploy lighting tools in various scenarios.
  • Enhance target identification and engagement accuracy in low light environments.

Required Equipment:

Handheld flashlight

-Pistol with weapon-mounted light

-2 or more magazines

-Magazine carrier

-Competition style or concealed carry belt (i.e. Kore belt)

-Outside the waistband holster (must be kydex molded specifically to your firearm.

-No soft sided or leather holsters will be allowed. (i.e. Uncle Mikes)

-Ammo 150 rounds minimum

-Eye and ear protection (provided if needed)

Experience level:

  • The course is open to shooters of all levels interested in improving their low light shooting capabilities. However, it is advised that you are comfortable shooting, remedying malfuncations and changing magazines in well lit conditions prior to taking this class. 201 Defensive Shooting is highly recommended.
