Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, our Intro to Shotgun Class is designed to give you the knowledge and hands-on experience you need in a safe and supportive environment. What You’ll Learn: · Shotgun Fundamentals: Explore different types of shotguns, understand their mechanics, and get hands-on with one specific model to learn how it works. · Safety First: Master essential safety protocols, from handling and storage to range etiquette, ensuring you’re always in control. · Shooting Techniques: Learn the basics of stance, grip, aiming, and trigger control to build a strong foundation for accurate and safe shooting. · Ammo Differences: Learn the difference between birdshot, buckshot, and slugs, as well as different shot sizes. · Maintenance Basics: Discover how to clean and maintain a shotgun to keep it reliable and ready for action. What’s Included: · Professional Instruction: Benefit from the expertise of a seasoned instructor with years of experience in shooting sports and firearm safety. · Shotgun & Gear: No shotgun? No problem! Your class fee includes the rental of a shotgun and eye/ear protection if needed. · Flexible Options: Bring your own shotgun or use one of ours—just remember to bring or purchase 20 rounds of buckshot ammunition. Birdshot is NOT allowed. · Balanced Learning: Enjoy 1 hour of classroom instruction followed by 1 hour of supervised shooting on the range, giving you the perfect mix of theory and practice. Course Cancellation/Change Substitutions of attendees may be made at any time. Attendees must cancel at least 72 hours prior to the course date to receive a full refund less a $15 administrative fee. For cancellations received within 48 hours of the course date no cash refunds will be provided.  Instead, a one-time class rescheduling can be made.  A rescheduled course must occur within 12 months from the original course date.  If a course has not been attended within the 12-month period, all course fees are forfeited by the participant. Failure to attend the course or cancellations less than 48 hours notification will result in no refund or credit of the course fee or rescheduling. The Gallery reserves the right to cancel or reschedule seminars/classes at any time.  IF we cancel or reschedule the seminar/class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund.  The Gallery is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation.  If the Gallery cancels a seminar/class in which you are enrolled, you will be contacted at the email address you provided when registering, so please be sure to provide a valid email address and check your email prior to attending class.
