Reno Indoor Pistol League (RIPL)

The Basics

How many matches?

Matches will be held every Thursday evening from 7:00 – 10:30 PM          

How many stages?

We will run two to four stages per match

What’s the round count?

Each stage will have a minimum of six rounds and max out at about forty rounds

What kind of targets will be used?

Paper or cardboard IDPA and USPSA targets and eventually self-healing polymer plates, poppers and silhouettes   

What kind guns will be used?  Will there be any restrictions?

Firearms used will mainly be pistols, but we will probably develop multiple categories to allow for PCC’s, rifles and shotguns.

What kind of sights are allowed?

Iron sights and red dot sights

Current Stage description, Classifiers. Stages will vary weekly

Stages will be designed to test a shooters practical shooting skills.  The score is determined by dividing stage points by time + penalties.

Check in by 7:00pm – Event goes until 10:00
