This 8 hour course will provide the minimum skills and knowledge necessary to earn a training certificate to apply for a NC Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) permit. The course begins with safety training followed by the required shooting qualification on the range. The course will conclude with a written examination of the covered material. Students must pass a shooting qualification and written exam in order to receive a CCH certificate. And, upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a CCH Certificate which will enable them to apply for a CCH Permit with the state of North Carolina through their county’s Sheriff’s Office.
The written exam is 20 questions.
